Service agreement framework

Every paid milestone begins with a written boundary.

This framework shows what the definitive engagement schedule will cover. It is not itself a quotation or acceptance of a project.

Effective 20 July 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Engagement schedule

Each schedule identifies the client, authorised contacts, research stage, institution or publisher requirements, milestone name, objective, deliverables, exclusions, client inputs, responsible team, start condition, target date, review window, revision allowance, fees, taxes and payment dates.

2. Example milestone definition

Milestone: Chapter methodology alignment review

Included: research-question fit, design, sampling, instrument, data-provenance and analysis-plan review; annotated recommendations; one decision meeting.

Excluded: primary data fabrication, undisclosed impersonation, guaranteed supervisor acceptance, new laboratory work and changes outside the stated chapter.

Completion evidence: review memorandum, tracked recommendations and decision register.

3. Change control

A change in question, dataset, university format, target journal, word count, intended claim or deadline may alter scope. We will identify the change and its effect on cost or schedule before performing out-of-scope work.

4. Review and acceptance

The client reviews a delivery within the stated window and reports objective gaps against the schedule. Silence after the review window may close the milestone for planning purposes but does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Later publisher or supervisor comments are treated under the revision allowance or a new scope.

5. Payment milestones

No public service price is implied by this framework. A quotation may divide work into diagnosis, development, review and closure payments. Payment links are issued against a quotation reference; the site will never ask a client to type an arbitrary project amount.

6. Service levels

New enquiries target a response within 24 hours. Delivery dates are conditioned on payment, complete inputs, client response time, specialist availability and third-party systems. Urgent 15-day work is accepted only when the diagnostic confirms a credible scope.

7. Academic and ethical responsibilities

The client confirms authorship, disclosure, data authority and compliance with institutional and publisher rules. The provider may refuse instructions that involve falsification, purchased authorship, fake review, predatory placement or undisclosed impersonation.

8. Confidentiality, privacy and security

The schedule records classification of files, authorised users, approved transfer route, specialist access, retention period and any additional NDA or data-processing conditions.

9. Termination and transition

Either party may end future unstarted milestones by written notice. Completed work, committed capacity and unavoidable costs remain payable. On closure, the provider will identify final files, outstanding invoices, retention dates and any reasonable transition steps.

10. Order of documents

If terms conflict, the signed engagement schedule controls the specific milestone, followed by any project NDA or data-processing addendum, these Service Terms, the Confidentiality Standard and the Privacy Notice, subject always to applicable law.
